God of the Possible

There may have been many times in life when you have been shunned, pushed aside, abandoned, abused, told you would never be anybody, the last one to be called upon, and made to feel like God has not called you. But do you know that it is often people who have gone through those instances that God has favored the most? There are many examples in the Bible where God took those that were the least of them, and made them prominent in the land. He can take what's next to nothing and make something great out of it. He can take what's unpopular, and make a spectacle of it, all for His glory. He can even take the impossible that has happened in your life, the very thing that everyone feels will never come to pass, and cause it to happen in a second, bringing you from the backdrop to the forefront. Why? Because God is the God of the Possible. Read more inside...

With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible....But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first. (Matthew 19:26, 30)

In the Bible, David, who everyone thought could not possibly defeat Goliath, became a man after God's own heart and a mighty warrior, who did beat Goliath with just some stones and a slingshot. Moses, who was a stutterer and a murderer, became prominent in the eyes of Pharaoh, and went on to be of significance to the children of Israel. Even though he was not there to see the Israelites go to the Promised Land, Moses did witness a miracle when they crossed the Red Sea on dry land while Pharaoh and the Egyptians drowned and were swallowed up by the sea. Many other miracles happened while they traveled those 40 days in the wilderness. And let's not forget the many miracles Jesus performed during His ministry while on earth. In one scenario, He changed water to wine. He also took two fish and five loaves of bread, blessed it, broke it, gave thanks, and divided it among the disciples to hand out and immediately it multiplied to where over 5,000 men (not counting women and children) were fed. That is truly next to impossible, but God made all things possible to those that believed!

So never doubt the power of God even over your life. He can do anything but fail. If you trust in Him, He can and will provide for you. Allow Him to do the impossible in and for you!

Selah-(Think on These Things)

  • Do you have any doubt or unbelief in your heart that God cannot perform?
  • Why do you think you have not gone past the doubt/unbelief to truly allow God to work a miracle in your life?
  • Name one thing that you would like God to do in your life, but feel it is next to impossible to receive?

Prayer:

Lord, forgive me for not trusting you. Forgive me for allowing the enemy to put doubt and unbelief in my heart. I believe this is what is stopping me from receiving my greatest blessings. I renounce the enemy's scheme over my mind, and decree and declare that starting now, my riches will catch up to my revelation! I walk in the knowledge of Your will in my life. I will confess nothing but Your Word for me, and know that nothing will be impossible to me, because I believe by the power of Your Word to perform it. In Jesus Name, Amen!
